SCHOOL LIBRARY
Our school library is housed in a big room. It is a room of recreation and information. There is a big table in the centre. There are more than five thousand books on almost all subjects in our library.
The books are kept in the almirahs. The newspaper and many magazine stands are placed in a corner. There are five big almirahs. The almirahs are made of Iron and glass. Books are arranged on them.
Sixty students can sit on benches. They read newspapers and magazines. There is a pin drop silence in the library. The library is looked after by the librarian. He guides in selecting good books. The students return the old books. They borrow fresh books.
A student can borrow two books at a time. I visit the library regularly. I like my school library very much.
ESSAY ON THE CAMEL
The camel is a big and useful animal. It has a small head, long neck, long slender legs, and a large stomach in which it stores large quantity of water so that it can move a long distance without water. It has a hump on its back.
A camel is generally found in lands where there are deserts. It is called 'the ship of the desert". Its feet are shooed with pads, just a kind of shoes for walking upon hot sand. The men in the desert ride on its back, drink its milk and eat its flesh.
Fine brushes are made from its hair. The camel is a beast of burden. It can travel from thirty to thirty-five miles a day with a load, and sixty to eighty miles without a load. It does not feel hungry or thirsty from such long journeys.
Camels live on herbs. But when they are very hungry, they will eat almost everything they can find- bones, skin, fish, even a blanket.

Warm greetings to distinguished guests, respected teachers and my dear friends. It is a great privilege for me to stand in front of you to say few words about the topic computer.
Computer is the wonderful and mastermind gift of the science to the humankind. The computer is one of the most important inventions of our age. So our age is called computer age. The first computer was a mechanical computer which was created by Charles Babbage.
The Computer is an electronic calculating machine. It is very simple data based machine. It performs various functions faster and more accurately. It can be used to do any kind of work. It provides facility of many other tools like paint tool, text tool etc which are very beneficial to us. It allows us to make changes in the already stored data as well as store new data.
Computer is a big dictionary. We use to save any type of large amount of data like information, study materials, projects, photos, images, video, audio, songs, clips, games, and many more in computers.
The computer is used in railways and airports. Computers are necessary in printing book and news papers. Road traffic of big cities is also controlled by the computers. The police use computer to keep the records of the criminals.
In banks, it plays important role to keep records of financial transactions. They are used to forecast the weather. The computer has made our life and work very easy. It is very true that computer is a great invention of the modern technology.

Warm greetings to distinguished guests, respected teachers and my dear friends. It is a great privilege for me to stand in front of you to say few words about the topic my country.
India is my country. I am proud to say that I am an Indian. I am proud of the ancient culture and heritage of my great country. The wisdom of the Ancient Ayran seers is adored all over the world.
My country was under the foreign rule for about two hundred years, until she had achieved her freedom on the 15th August, 1947. I was born in free India. Many great men and women were born in my country. To name a few, Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose, Rabindranath Tagore, C.V. Raman and many other great sons of India, who gave to the world love and wisdom, the message of truth, knowledge of science, and true meaning of religion.
My country is now considered as one of the five big powers in the world. Her huge man-power, her tremendous progress in the field of science and technology, her mineral and agricultural wealth, her industries, her strong defence forces, her friendly understanding with other world powers - all these have made her great in the comity of nations.
